Two years after their 2013 4-track debut Hope All Is Well, experimental psych outfit Food Group released Echo Location, which got the attention of White Denim’s James Petralli. An invitation to White Denim’s studio that spring led to the recording of Food Group’s EP, You Are, featuring Petralli on the title track and a remix by CAPYAC.
This month, the band has a new single out, “Sleepwalker” (featured on today’s Austin Music Minute) from the forthcoming album Here Today, due for release on April 21st. You get to hear the new music at Food Group’s show tonight at The Sidewinder, 715 Red River. The bill includes Strange Mother, Dwight Smith and Robby.
