Chances are, if you were able to enjoy any bit of the overwhelming abundance of Free Week shows last week, you’re in recovery mode. It was quite a treat to experience a concentrated amount of so much talent. But – and this is something your humble Austin Music Minute maven also says after festivals and the like – the music goes on in our fair city.
Denton-based experimental/math rock trio Cleanup was actually in town last week for all the Free Week goodies, but they’re back this week for a show tomorrow night at Cheer Up Charlie’s, 900 Red River. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the music starts at 9 p.m. with The Electric Friends, followed by Bitter Birds at 10 p.m., Cleanup at 11 p.m., and Megafauna wrapping up the night at midnight.
Such a great line-up, and it’s on a Tuesday night. Don’t miss out. Recommended.
