Philadelphia’s They Are Gutting A Body of Water (use TAGABOW for short) started as the solo project of songwriter Doug Dulgarian in 2017, evolving into a massive shoegaze/slowcore maximalism simultaneously emulating both a stripped down style and a sound that feels bigger than the band itself. Today’s AMM featured track – and song on repeat – “sour diesel” from their LP LOTTO.
