Take It On the Road

Ray Garza of folk-rock outfit MARYANN admitted to being a little anxious about his band going on the road for the first time, but it’s mixed with excitement, and no doubt plenty of adrenaline. Quite a few major cities await on the map for the “Just Married” tour, including Memphis, Cincinnati, New York, and Philadelphia. It’s all good, because the band will have plenty of new music to share with their new album, Wylie., and they’ll be joined by friend and fellow songwriter Greg Mullen on the road.

MARYANN is kicking off the tour in style with a big album release party tonight at Cheer Up Charlie’s, 900 Red River, with performances by Mullen, Brother Bear and Mon Freres Amigos. Get there after 9 p.m. Excellent new tunes, and the perfect bon voyage. So recommended.
