Tear Dungeon residency at 29th Street Ballroom starts tonight, with Magic Rockers of Texas.

Bloody and raw. That’s one way of putting it. But Austin’s blood bath havoc-wreakers Tear Dungeon provide the kind of unbridled exhilaration that reignites the soul. Or, at the very least, sets off some serious palpitations to remind you of your mortality. Either way, laugh and scream maniacally as they kick off a three-day residency at 29th Street Ballroom tonight, with fellow mutilators Magic Rockers of Texas on the bill for the first round (“Two Tongue Critic” from Gorging on American Fare is featured on today’s AMM). Doors at 7 p.m. Next week, it’s KUTX Artist of the Month alum Gus Baldwin and The Sketch, and on March 9, Pussy Gillette does some major havoc-wreaking of their own. Hell yeah.

Enjoy KUTX’s video of Tear Dungeon performing “Kill For Health” in Studio 1A. And if you’re front row tonight, wear your cleanest white ensemble. I triple dog dare you.
