Dig the wild and racy ride of The Ghost Wolves‘ “Elsa” video, one of the scorchers on the Austin duo’s latest LP Never Die. Whips, chains and lobo-esque nuptials beguile in this wicked rocker, featuring fab appearances by video creative team Lord Friday the 13th, all within the rustic setting of Tiny T Ranch and its Tiny Chapel – where the beasts exchanged their fanged vows. Side note: “Elsa” also happens to be the Wolves’ contribution to Project Traction, co-produced by Lucy Garner and Project Traction founder Jim Eno.
“Elsa” and today’s AMM featured track “One Who Stole the Sun” show the Wolves’ energy shift within Never Die‘s blues/punk/garage rock realm, as Carley and Johnny Wolf take the pack to explore more synth-based sonics and “non-guitar moments,” as Johnny describes, slower tempos, and a much darker atmosphere.
Time for another sensational album release show. Join The Ghost Wolves as they howl tonight, Saturday June 11, at The ABGB, 1305 W. Oltorf. The Joe Ben Experiment‘s mad scientist synth-and-guitar spree kicks off the night at 9 p.m. All the beasts are out this evening.
