- AMM fave Big Joanie plays a showcase at the Mohawk, with Tallies, PASTEL GHOST, Fears, and Roller Derby.
- ATX band Letting Up Despite Great Faults (featured on today’s AMM) plays at The Drafting Room, along with Italian artists Qlowski and Her Skin, Seattle artist MØAA, and San Francisco band Lofi Legs.
- A Spaceflight Records official showcase at the SXSW Outdoor Stage at Ladybird Lake, with Golden Dawn Arkestra, Heartless Bastards, …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, Kalu and The Electric Joint, and Croy and the Boys.
- LA songwriter, vocalist and violinist Sudan Archives is part of a great line-up at Empire Garage.
- Alexalone plays at Cheer Up Charlie’s, with Plato III (Plato the Third), IAN SWEET, Katy Kirby, Lunar Vacation, Sun June and Good Looks.
- The Hotel Vegas patio is the spot to catch The Dream Syndicate, The Lemonheads’ Evan Dando, and Nolan Potter’s Nightmare Band.
- Excellent showcase at House Nazdorovye with Madison,WI psych artist Kainalu, Bogota psych trio BALTHVS, and New Orleans-based Bulgarian prog-folk outfit Blato Zlato.
- Have you heard? Tobe Nwigwe and BunB at Mala Vida. Damn.
- The ultra-fabulous Caleb De Casper performs at the Chicken Ranch Records showcase at Valhalla. Featuring JM Stevens, Thee Idylls, Delhi-based electronic duo Komorebi, and Peelander Z.
- Blues artist Sugaray Rayford at Augustine in a showcase featuring Jackie Venson, The Suffers, and Bright Light Social Hour.
