In the blink of an eye, November arrived. And, with it’s arrival, comes an event that’s a huge fave among the locals: Fun Fun Fun Fest 2014, happening Friday, Saturday and Sunday out at Auditorium Shores.
Like clockwork, the moment the official line-up was announced, the fans started freaking out, in a good way. FFF has once again pulled together an outstanding schedule of goodies, like Alt-J, Courtney Barnett, The New Pornographers, First Aid Kit, Neutral Milk Hotel, Dinosaur Jr., King Tuff…and all the AWESOMENESS that’s invading the FFF Black Stage, your Austin Music Minute maven’s favorite stage, thank you very much.
Hello? Dreamy selections from said Black Stage: Judas Priest (well, DUH!!), King Diamond (still can’t get over this one – is it for real?!), The Murder City Devils, and Death From Above 1979.
That’s just a few to look forward to, along with several notable local artists like The Digital Wild, Crooked Bangs, Dana Falconberry, Zorch, Good Field, The Sour Notes and more.
Today’s AMM featured music by garage-rockers out of Chapel Hill that you can see Friday at 12:10 p.m. on the Orange Stage, Spider Bags. Stay tuned for more recommendations during the AMM’s weeklong FFF Fest 2014 preview.
