Who: Once again, the kind gents of roots rock band MARYANN gave your humble Austin Music Minute host a heads-up about another lovely bill they’re in, with blues/psych-folk quintet The Warplanes and Corpus Christi psych-folk rockers Peace & Quiet.
What: Let’s hear it for another grand triple bill with all three of these bands. Yes, it’s one of those gigs where you need to catch all three.
When: Happening tonight.
Where: The Mohawk, 912 Red River, on the inside stage. Doors open at 9 p.m.
Why: Allow me to point you toward some music you need to get – MARYANN’s Wylie; The Warplanes’ 2011 self-titled release, with the gorgeous opener, “Lost In A River”; and Peace & Quiet’s 2012 EP, Bionic Stalker Bee. Go get you some. Recommended.
