It’s reading like a laundry list, but look, the AMM has a handful of picks for your ACL Fest 2024 Weekend 2 adventures, plus a couple of ACL Fest Nights shows, and shows that are nowhere near Zilker Park that are badass and a lovely alternative for your live music listening pleasure. - This afternoon at Zilker Park, you can see Being Dead, The Tiarras, Jon Muq, The Beaches, and Say She She.
- ACL Fest Nights tonight includes Orville Peck and Nikki Lane at Stubb’s, and Qveen Herby at Emo’s.
- Also tonight: Austin-based artists Hikes, alexalone, and Redbud have a show at Radio East on Montopolis Dr. Doors at 8 p.m.
- The Stayres take over the room at The 13th Floor on Red River tonight, with The Mullens, The Genders, and Tempo Tantrums.
- At ACL Fest tomorrow afternoon, don’t miss DAIISTAR, Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol, Kalu and the Electric Joint, and today’s AMM-featured artist, Bakar. And make your night complete with Mr. Johnny Blue Skies himself, Sturgill Simpson, who plays at 8:40 p.m.
