After two years, Austin’s hottest holiday tradition is BACK, with all-new music and surprises to ring in the season. ZACH’s singular adaptation of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is a musical sleigh ride through rhythm and time, infusing the traditional Victorian story with a score that spans all genres and eras.
This family-friendly spectacular creates an infectious spirit that has everyone dancing in the aisles. Celebrate the season with the loving Cratchit family and three soulful ghosts as they take Ebenezer Scrooge on a joyride to rediscover his heart and love for human kindness.


Paramount Theatre – Bruce & Kelly’s Holiday Shindig with Special Guest Radney Foster

Saturday, December 11 @ 7 p.m.

A yuletide tradition for more than two decades, Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis are back on Paramount stage! The songwriting roots duo will perform their unique blend of country and Christmas tunes to get the whole family in the holiday spirit.

While both Bruce and Kelly have pursued separate careers, they have collaborated on many projects as well. Together, they have released four duo albums. Robison produced Willis’ latest album, Back Being Blue, and most recently, the release of their duo album, Beautiful Lie. They currently reside in Austin where they raise their four children and Robison runs his latest endeavor, The Next Waltz.


Ballet Austin – The Nutcracker

From the scrumptious sets and costumes to the colorful characters you adore, Ballet Austin’s annual production of THE NUTCRACKER is Austin’s favorite holiday tradition! Hundreds of dancers perform Stephen Mills’ enchanting choreography to Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s magical score with live accompaniment from Austin Symphony Orchestra. Share this sweet treat with your favorite people and celebrate the season with Ballet Austin.


Trail of Lights

Hosted by the Trail of Lights Foundation, the annual event in Zilker Park celebrates the unique spirit and people that make Austin the place we love to call home.

The 57th annual Austin Trail of Lights will return to the city’s iconic Zilker Park in 2021 as a drive-thru event.

The most beloved, and longest running holiday tradition of its kind in Texas’ capital city, Austin Trail of Lights powered by H-E-B, welcomes hundreds of thousands of guests from Central Texas and around the world each year for its jubilant displays of lights.
