Steve Gunn – “New Moon”
The Philly-born, Brooklyn-based guitarist, singer-songwriter, and producer Steve Gunn has been a go-to musician in a variety of East Coast bands for the past 15 years, including playing guitar in Kurt Vile’s backing band, The Violators. Steve will release his fourth solo album in January called The Unseen In Between, and “New Moon” is the record’s first taste.
boygenius – “Bite The Hand”
Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker formed boygenius after Phoebe and Lucy met backstage at a festival in Philly and hit it off. The three booked a tour together, and boygenius was born. The band’s self-titled EP features songs written in each musician’s distinct style. Lucy Dacus takes the lead on “Bite The Hand.”
