“Death is eternal, as is rock.” So says Austin psych-rock outfit Being Dead. Formed in an alternate universe a little over a year ago, the band has been entertaining fans in Austin with electric live shows and a recently released 5 song EP, Fame Money Death by Drive-By. Headed up by Juli Keller and Cody Dosier, Being Dead throws everything from bouncy surf rock to fat fuzzed-out guitars and animal sounds into a single song. Just take a look at their recent pop-up session filmed in KUTX producer Jorge Sanhueza-Lyon’s East Austin home and we’re pretty sure you’ll be howling along by the end of the song.
