Armadillo Live at Central Machine Works is a three-day celebration benefitting KUTX and honoring the spirit of old Austin through live music, art, food, immersive experiences, and community gathering. The weekend will feature performances from White Denim, Holy Wave, The Greyhounds, Annabelle Chairlegs, Arc Iris, Gran Moreno, and more, alongside KUTX DJs, a Cosmic Revival Brunch with Uncle Roy & Spice, kids programming, Austin music memorabilia swaps, specialty drinks, immersive installations, and local vendors.
A suggested $9.89 donation at the door will benefit KUTX.
Friday, June 5
5:00–7:00 PM — Happy Hour with KUTX DJs
7:00–11:00 PM — Hippie Cowboy Ball featuring live music from Holy Wave and Annabelle Chairlegs
Saturday, June 6
11:00 AM–1:00 PM — Kids Crafting
11:30 AM–12:30 PM — Music of the Armadillo: Willie Nelson & Grateful Dead Kids Show presented by Rock & Roll Playhouse
2:00–8:00 PM — Austin Music Memorabilia Swap featuring AWHQ + KUTX limited merch sales, tie-dye, and chain-stitching stations
8:00–11:00 PM — Performances by Arc Iris, Gran Moreno, and White Denim
