Event: Patty Griffin, Eliza Gilkyson, Dana Falconberry and Charlie Mars are among the artists performing in the “Cactus Summer Set,” a celebration of Austin’s legendary acoustic music venue — the Cactus Cafe.
The Cactus Cafe has nurtured the talents of the local music scene for decades, while providing an intimate showcase for nationally-known acoustic artists. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at www.cactuscafe.org. Tickets are $65 for general admission or $80 for the first six rows (limited availability).

Background: All proceeds for the “Cactus Summer Set” support the ongoing mission of the Cactus. The Cactus Cafe hosts more than 50 free events each year, including open mic nights, student talent competitions, “Views & Brews” and “Agenda Texas,” among other events.
