8AM Wednesday 3.13.13- Little Green Cars
Little Green Cars isn’t your typical country-rock outfit. For one thing, they’re from Ireland, which isn’t exactly a hotbed for the genre. That being said, the band makes some great music. With fantastic male/female vocals (which both sing in harmony, in unison and individually depending on what each song calls for), Little Green Cars has become yet another UK band that has effortlessly captured a distinctly Americana sound. The band has been placed on several lists of artists to watch out for in 2013, including BBC Radio’s Sound of 2013 list.
