One Wednesday a month, singer-songwriter/violinist Carrie Rodriguez and Grammy award winning multi-instrumentalist/producer Michael Ramos are inviting you into their own musical laboratorio. With the help of Grammy Award winning bassist/producer Roscoe Beck they’ll be pushing the boundaries of Latin music, creating culturally blended music for a culturally blended world, and asking a different special guest each month to add to the experiment. Adrian Quesada joins Laboratorio this Wednesday.

Celebrate longtime Cactus Cafe bartender James Morgan’s 31st birthday with a night of eclectic local music! Your $5 suggested donation goes directly to the growing Cactus Cafe Archive Project. Russian House manager and traditional acoustic Eastern European songwriter Roman Butvin opens, followed by garage rockers Adventurer Like You and closing with trip hop producer Back Handerson.
