Our Favorite Quarantine Songs

My KUTX // April 4, 2020

All of us KUTX hosts are quarantining at home, and we’re really missing getting to play music and interact with our listeners. We all hope you’re safe and healthy wherever you are, and we appreciate everyone still tuning into the station. So this week on My KUTX, we thought it’d be great to put together an hour of music that’s getting us through this isolating experience. Classic jazz, R&B, ambient, Austin music–it doesn’t really matter what genre or flavor. Music continues to be a balm for us, and hopefully it’s the same for you. And please excuse the sound quality on our voices—we’re all DJing from assorted living rooms and closets, but we hope you’ll enjoy this special quarantine edition of My KUTX. Hear it on Saturday, April 4 at 6 p.m. or listen at any time in the player above.
