Deap Vally 11.2.16

Los Angeles rock duo Deap Vally doesn’t pull any sucker punches. That doesn’t mean guitarist/vocalist Lindsey Troy and drummer/vocalist Julie Edwards won’t beat you up. You’ll just see it coming.

Their new record Femejism is a brutal one-two of anthemic punk rock peppered with heavy doses of grungy blues and heavy metal. During their visit to Studio 1A they put down raucous versions of the unabashedly feminist rockers “Royal Jelly”, “Smile More” and the sneeringly cynical screamer “Little Baby Beauty Queen”. Gird yourself for combat and take a listen to Deap Vally caught live in Studio 1A!
