With more than 50 years as a songwriter and in-demand session player under his belt, they don’t come much more experienced than keyboardist Donnie Fritts. More than 40 of those years have been spent playing keys with Kris Kristofferson, not to mention the countless Muscle Shoals sessions he sat in on. And a quick look at those songwriting credits reveals some serious hits, “Choo Choo Train”, “We Had It All”, and “Breakfast in Bed”, just to name a few. Fritts brought his one of a kind talent to Studio 1A to preview his show at the Paramount Theatre that evening. Scroll down to the bottom of this post to listen to the entire session!
