We’ve depended on Philadephia-based band, Dr. Dog for some time to deliver us solid fixes of melodic, hook-filled psychedelic folk-rock and the group haven’t let us down with their seventh full-length album, B-Room released last October. For this album the group left their recording space of eight years and recorded most of B-Room (named after its origins) live in an old silversmith mill they converted to a studio. The resulting sound is free and uninhibited, with even more soul than previous albums. The spotlight shines through on the band’s natural essence and skill as live performers.
