L.A.’s Dream Syndicate is back in the saddle and touring behind their new album, How Did I Find Myself Here, after nearly three decades since their last release. Largely credited with bringing New Wave to Northern California in the early 80s, Dream Syndicate quickly became a regional and critics favorite for fusing those new sounds with California’s psych-rock roots. While this may be the first album from the reunited Dream Syndicate, the new lineup has performed together steadily since a reunion show in 2012 and the years of practice make the new music feel just as fresh and exciting as it did when they first hit the scene. The band was in town for a show at 3Ten ACL Live and stopped by the studio to give us a special performance for some luck KUTX listeners.
