You are almost transported to a quiet coffee shop and sipping a cup of Guatemalan drip when you hear Gaby Moreno‘s delicate voice wafting around a room. The Guatemalan star effortlessly switches between English and Spanish, just as easily as she slides from bluesy rock to Latin and from jazz to bossa nova. Her voice is sweet, soulful and even one may not understand all the words, the power of her voice leaves an impact. Last year she won a Latin Grammy as the “Best New Artist”, and the year before that, released her sixth album Postales. Moreno performed live at the Cactus Cafe on September 22. If you didn’t make it you can still catch Moreno’s performance in Studio 1A right here!
