Harvey Pittel is one of the most skilled saxophone masters of our time. His music is critically acclaimed by The New York Times, the Boston Globe, the San Fransisco Chronicle, and the list goes on. Although he is now pricipally a solo-recitalist, Pittel has performed orchestral solos with numerous symphonies, inlcuding New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Sacramento, and San Antonio symphonies to name just some. After his move to New York in 1978 Pittel was the most in-demand saxophonist worldwide. Today he continues to keep a busy performing schedule, doing solo recitals (The Harvey Pittel Duo) as well as orchestras.
