Producer, songwriter, and performer from Easton, Maryland–Maggie Rogers serves up her pop-folk music with a free-spirit. Upon graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2016, her single, “Alaska,” became a viral sensation overnight after receiving high praise from producer Pharrell Williams. Before this, she was merely known as “the banjo girl” by some of her peers. Fast forward a few years and now she is now signed to Capitol Records and released her EP, Now That the Light Is Fading. The undeniably alluring sound, danceable beats, and overall intoxicating ambiance have been a vehicle for chart-topping success. Rogers has reached Spotify’s Viral 50 in 40 countries, hit #1 in 23 countries and has over 100 million global streams to date. She’ll be releasing her well-anticipated album titled, Heard It In a Past Life, in January of 2019.

Maggie Rogers joined us for a live session in Studio 1A. You can check out her performances on songs off of the unreleased album and the full session below!
