Margo Price is currently touring the country in support of her emotional, feisty, and politically charged album, All American Made. Price’s powerful, enchanting vocals will take your breath away, and the infectious honky-tonk rhythms will have you fighting the urge to dance. Nashville’s rising star visited Studio 1A to talk about her journey and to play a few songs. Price told us, “I used to bartend down on Broadway at a little place called Layla’s, and so I’d take out the trash and look up at The Ryman, and think, man, I’m never gonna play there.” This May, Price will be playing three nights at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. She’ll also be playing tonight at Emo’s, and we suggest you buy tickets before they sell out.
