Chicago has always been a music town, but the newest sounds coming from this iconic American city are distinctly less bluesy and significantly more distorted than you might imagine. At the front of the new guard is garage rockers turned serious indie band Ne-Hi. That’s not to say the band strays far from its raucous backyard party roots, but with a 2nd full-length album, Offers, under their belts, the band feels tighter and more focused on their special brand of Television-esque prog-punk than ever before. We were excited to have them stop by Studio 1A and you can listen to their session in the player at the bottom of this post.
