Internationally acclaimed guitarist Vladimir Gorbach has captivated audiences across Europe, Australia, the United States and his native country of Russia. His international success began when he was accepted into the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation “Live Music Now” outreach program. He then went on to win ten international guitar competitions and prizes in Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Greece and most recently, in the United States at the 2011 Guitar Foundation of America. He’s toured across the globe and played as a soloist and as part of a chamber ensemble in some of the world’s most renowned venues for classical guitar.
Vladimir Gorbach will play a show on Saturday night at Northwest Hill United Methodist Church, in a concert sponsored by the Austin Classical Guitar Society. Yesterday, he joined us in Studio 1a to play a liveset on KUTX. You can listen to the result of that session here!
