A New York–born, Florida-raised artist of Jamaican heritage, Yuno blends indie-pop, hip-hop, and reggae influences with the DIY spirit of skate culture. A self-taught producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he first began uploading his introspective ballads to SoundCloud before catching the attention of Sub Pop’s Ishmael Butler (Shabazz Palaces). That connection led to his 2018 debut EP Moodie, which introduced his hook-driven, bedroom-pop style and earned placements in shows across Netflix and HBO.
This year, Yuno has expanded his vision with his first full-length album, Blest, released May 16, 2025, on Sub Pop. The record elevates his intimate production into widescreen pop drama, pairing sharp songwriting with cinematic arrangements. With Blest and new tour dates, Yuno shows himself as an artist whose DIY beginnings have grown into a fully realized creative force.
