Former Austinite Matt Drenik has spent a good chunk of the past few years on the road, touring with his Portland, Oregon-based band Battleme. All that travel has crept into his music, but it’s not jetlagged. If anything, Battleme’s songs sound like a souped-up truck barreling down the highway.
