Cut Worms: “Don’t Wanna Say Good-Bye”

Brooklynite-by –way-of-Chicago Max Clarke performs under the name Cut Worms, a lo-fi, lovely piece of melodic bedroom rock ready to hug you to sleep or keep you company on the long, open road. After enjoying songwriting as a beloved hobby for years, Clarke finally leaned into his passive passion and set to writing music full-time. His debut EP Alien Sunset was half-written in Chicago and half-written in New York, with a distinct mood to each side. This one represents the former, rooted in some of the earliest folk-rock influences— like the Everley Brothers became bedroom musicians.

“Don’t Wanna Say Good-Bye” appears on the Alien Sunset EP, out now via Bandcamp.
