Big stage, small stage, backstage: it’s all the same to East Cameron Folkcore. The Austin band plays every song like it’s the last time they’ll ever play it. At Fun Fun Fun Fest, the eight members crammed it all onto the Yellow Stage, turning heads and converting a few passers-by to their mix of roots-meets-punk.
Backstage at KUTX’s tent, ECF stripped down to just a handful of instruments, but the band was no less powerful.
