Fever High: “All Work” (Live In Studio 1A)

Fever High‘s Anna Nordeen and Reni Lane use retro-tinged indie pop as an expression of what they call “girl on girl free spirit”. Following Nordeen’s 2014 solo EP, You Know Where I Am, the Brooklyn-based duo has been steadily building their repertoire beginning with the release of their debut single, “Tantalized,” back in 2015. Last year, Fever High’s collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Adam Schlesinger yielded the undeniably catchy five-song debut EP, All Work.

The live Studio 1A rendition of the title track highlights Fever High’s preference for unison-over-harmony vocals, lighthearted lyrical narratives and ear-tickling blending of synthetic and organic timbres, complete with harmon-muted trumpet riffs and piano chords bouncing on top of an automated beat.
