Montreal’s Audrey Ann and Kyle Jukka make music under the name She-Devils, repurposing old records and warping their sounds until they take on a new context. “Come”–from She-Devils’ self-titled debut EP–sounds like it’s beamed in from another dimension or psychic state. Over a chopped-up ’60s pop sample and some noisy effects, Ann floats like a ghost. “Don’t try to resist me / Come, come,” she sings, as if her record collection has come to life.
