If you’re looking for some sonic seasonal saline, Summer Salt’s got you covered. The Austin three-piece (or as they prefer to be called, a “three-o”) has tightened their alternative-surf-garage rock since debuting in 2014. Their third EP, So Polite, contains four of Summer Salt’s most entrancing arrangements – and is now available on limited edition blue vinyl. Summer Salt was kind enough to stop by KUTX’s Studio 1A and perform their EP in its entirety. Check out the lighthearted, laid back vibes on “Revvin’ My CJ7” and enjoy Summer Salt during their season to shine.
