Grammy Award winning musician, composer and producer, Adrian Quesada, is heading up a who’s-who of talented musicians for a night of music, cocktails and community at the El Grito Gala. The El Grito Gala, a fundraiser for El Buen Samaritano, is being held on September 15, the first day of National Hispanic Heritage month. The organization is committed to helping Latino and other families in Central Texas lead healthy, productive and secure lives through high-quality and affordable healthcare, education and basic needs services. The evening kicks off with a cocktail reception before moving into a dinner curated by Curra’s Grill, and musical entertainment by Adrian Quesada and His El Buen Social Club. The group is made up of Corey Baum, Vanessa Del Fierro, DJ Chorizo Funk, Michael Ramos, Alex Marrero and Jose Galeano. Quesada, co-founder of Brownout and Grupo Fantasma, is no stranger to heading up a motley crew and this group works with a fun, kinetic energy on stage. We were lucky enough to host some of them in Studio 1A. Check out the full session below!
