Husband and wife duo Beat Root Revival may hail from the UK, but their music transcends geographic boundaries and defies easy explanation. As the name implies, many of the group’s songs find their beginning in the roots music tradition but instead of using it as an anchor to ground the music it serves as a springboard to explore a wide variety Pop, R&B, & Blues sounds. It’s a sound that found some prominent fans during an unplanned trip to SXSW several years ago and ultimately led to a record produced by one of Nashville’s greats. Beat Root Revival is in town to share some holiday joy at the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar on Thursday, December 21.
