Two Austin music forces merged in Studio 1A this past Friday: Bob Schneider and Tosca Strings!
The adaptability of Tosca String Quartet allows their music to add invaluable texture to any compositions they perform on. This impressive collaborative range is evidenced by the quartet’s work with such acts as Golden Hornet Project, Spoon, David Byrne, Arcade Fire and, of course, Bob Schneider. The quartet is featured in Schneider’s latest album, Burden of Proof, resulting as a shining example of Austin music collaboration. Schneider’s traditional rock attitude is in no way quelled by the quartet, but amplified to an even higher degree.
