Austin’s ZACH Theater is out with a new production not to be missed! Gospel of Colonus is a musical that tells a story based on Sophocles’ Greek myth “Oedipus.” The story follows “Oedipus’ return home seeking forgiveness, redemption and transformation in the context of a gospel church service.” The soulful and moving tale will thrill viewers and so will the super-charged vocals of some of Austin’s finest singers and performers, including Eugene Lee, Timothy Curry, Janis Stinson, Judy Arnold, Felicia Dinwiddie, Vincent J. Hooper, Christa Oliver, Roderick Sanford, Kenny Williams and a full gospel choir. Some of the cast’s members will be joining us live on air at 10:00 a.m. Monday April 7 to give us a taste of what the show has to offer!
