Invincible Czars at KUTX 3.24.14

Posted by on Mar 24, 2014

The Invincible Czars wear a coat of many colors. Classical, Eastern European (Klezmer), and even polka music influence their one of a kind sound, as well as jazz, country, and punk. Nothing is off the table for the Invincible Czars. Famous for their quirky, original material, they are also known for recreations of classical orchestral compositions by the likes of Tchaikovsky (The Nutcracker) and Mussorgsky (A Night on Bald Mountain). In fact, they play an annual holiday rock show that centers around interpretations of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite” and other seasonal favorites that has become an Austin favorite. Whatever they’re playing, you can expect offbeat miniature symphonies that are inventive and fun, full of personality and masterfully created. Good for all ages. Catch them at Austin’s Spiderhouse Ballroom March 28. Until then, listen to their live performance with us RIGHT HERE!
