Esquina Tango is proud to host their event of the year with La Juan D’Arienzo, Ambassadors of Argentine Tango on their US Tour! Since its 2012 debut in Buenos Aires, La Juan D’Arienzo has aimed to offer listeners and dancers the characteristic music in the style of the legendary tango orchestra leader Juan D’Arienzo, who was known as the Rey del Compás, or the King of the Rhythm. The young and talented musicians not only offer that mode of one of the greatest orchestras in Argentine tango history, they also bring a freshness that has been welcomed by audiences around the world.
Esquina Tango Cultural Society of Austin is a non-profit 501C3 organization striving to build a vibrant and diverse community in East Austin and beyond. Since 2006 Esquina fosters culture, health, and dance, with an emphasis on Latino heritage, recreational tango and other Argentine traditions, promoting personal wellness, and understanding of Latino culture.
