An Austin World Music Award winner, nominee of the 2008 US Artist Award, and 2014 nominee of the German World Music Award, Oliver Rajamani’s transient upbringing has allowed him to better connect with different groups worldwide. Rajamani’s colorful life continually inspires him to blend Indian/Gypsy folk, Flamenco, Romani and Texas music to create his own sonic style, Flamenco India. This, coupled with his pure joy for life, has continued to wow audiences around the world for over a quarter of a century.

The internationally acclaimed artist stopped by Studio 1A to show us his distinct musical style ahead of his two sold-out shows at the Cactus Cafe with five-time Grammy award-winning artist Cindy Cash Dollar. Listen to the full session below.
