Texas Never Whispers’ songs are almost universally short and sweet, but that doesn’t mean the songs aren’t chock full of nutritional value. This is true on their newest release The Further I Go West, which is best described as a lovely doo-wop album that has been taken through a drunken romp on Sixth Street. Tim Regan’s smooth vocals are the perfect accompaniment to the band’s dynamic power-pop instrumentation.
