Wild Cub at KUTX 2.3.14

Nashville-based quintet, Wild Cub might be a young band, but they’re certainly making a big splash in the indie scene. The band was formed in early 2012 by singer/songwriter/film score composer, Keegan DeWitt and talented, multi-instrumentalist, Jeremy Bullock (Pico vs. Island Trees). Their sound conjures up feelings of youthfulness and reckless abandon. It’s melodic, intricate, fresh electro-pop. Their first LP, Youth was released last August and the album has already received vast critical acclaim. Paste magazine calls it, “full of small complexities that fill songs as they unwittingly slide into each other.” The infectious single, Thunder Clatter has been featured in an array of publications, including Paste, Spin, RCRD LBL, American Songwriter, and various others.
