Singer, songwriter and rock guitar great, Dickey Betts, is turning 80 on Tuesday. Born in West Palm Beach, he was a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band where he and Duane Allman first introduced melodic twin guitar harmony instead of the traditional rhythm/lead roles of two guitars.
