April 19, 1956 – Chuck Berry recorded his iconic rock & roll hit, “Roll Over Beethoven”. The famous refrain “Roll over Beethoven and tell Tchaikovsky the news” was said to be inspired by Berry’s rivalry with his classically trained piano-playing sister, Lucy.
