In wake of the Paris terrorist attacks last late Friday night, many major acts have backed out of their scheduled tour dates in Paris. So far groups U2, the Foo Fighters, Motorhead, Papa Roach, Marilyn Manson, and Prince have decided to cancel their Paris shows.

The ruling also came in on Friday evening that Rashad Owens was found guilty of capital murder in the deadly SXSW crash of 2014. Owens was given a sentence of life in prison after killing four people while driving through a SXSW crowd while running from police.

And this summer Austin will be hosting the reunion of one of the most controversial country acts. The Dixie Chicks have started scheduling dates for their new tour and will be playing at the the Austin 360 Amphitheater in August.

And it’s to no one’s surprise that Adele’s new single Hello has topped the billboard charts for the third straight week. It is the fastest number 1 radio hit in over 22 years. Hello is the first single from Adele’s upcoming album 25.
