Robyn Hitchcock has become a bit of a regular around KUTX, making sure to stop by everytime he plays Austin as well as joining us for some cool one-off performances during SXSW. Originally a member of The Soft Boys and The Egyptians in London’s 70s & 80s rock ‘n’ roll scene, Hitchcock turned the momentum of those groups into a predominantly solo acoustic act that continues to pick up steam. That continued creativity and success is due in large part to the contemporary subject matters and comedic lyrics Hitchcock works into his songs. Scroll down to get his latest visit to Studio 1A!
