Hell yes, it sparkles. That shimmer comes from its silky smooth synth-and-harmony melodies and deep dive funk-pop beats. It’s so cool to feel that classic touch on Mamahawk‘s A Diamond Shy, a multi-faceted gem with mad grooves on every cut and steady glides into psych, prog and jazz. Though the LP is described by Mamahawk as a dark vision of love in a dystopian society, damn. All the grooves lift you up.
