The Austin Music Minute is supported by Howler Brothers, an Austin-based designer of creative outdoor apparel since 2011, and by Planet K, Austin’s local hemp emporium since 1990.
Count on the AMM to bring you a handful of picks for ACL Festival 2026, and of course, a live music alternative if the vibes at Zilker Park are not your thing.
At the fest: Songwriter, composer and producer Labrinth (“The Living” is featured on today’s AMM) is the AMM big pick of the day. Of course, your experience wouldn’t be complete without a raucous rager by Amyl and the Sniffers. Songwriter/guitarist Paris Paloma, Austin artist Elijah Delgado and recent KUTX Artist of the Month Grocery Bag should all be on your checklist.
Also today: FELABRATION 2026 at Central Machine Works, honoring the legacy of Afrobeat originator Fela Kuti, featuring performances by Kalu James, Hard Proof, and members of Brownout, Black Pumas, Grupo Fantasma, The Polyphonic Spree and Golden Dawn Arkestra. The party starts at 7 p.m.
